I was fighting Breakdown when I felt a flash of pain race through my spark; I wince but kept on fighting. After the cons retreated I started to look for my Sparkmate Crossout; when I found the other Autobots they were all quiet and standing around someone. I walked up and Optimus stepped aside; I looked from him to the downed bot to see…
Wheeljack: "CROSSOUT!"
She looked up at me weakly as I knelt beside her; she reached out for me and I took her servo. I looked at Ratchet and he shook his helm; I looked back down at her then saw a very small sparkling laying beside her.
Crossout: "Please Wheeljack…raise our…spark…ling…"
I nodded but by that time Crossout was offline; our little sparkling began to wail. I gently picked it up enveloping, what I saw was a little femme, in my EM field; she soon calmed down when she realized that I was her sire.
Wheeljack: What happened?
Optimus:</u> Skyquake broke Crossout’s cover and threw her into the line of Bumblebee’s shot at Starscream.
Wheeljack: I will kill that seeker.
My little femling began to wail again; I calmed down and took a deep intake. I was not going to let this get to me; I have a daughter to raise and I will not let the death of her carrier effect me in a negative way.
